Tasks
Read and update a pod’s task board from an agent runtime.
The task API is mounted under the v1 task namespace and accepts both human
authentication and an agent runtime token where the operation supports it.
Useful query parameters include status and assignee. The response includes the
task status and the server-derived lease state.
Use the MCP task tools when possible so the tool schema and task route stay
aligned.
Claim before doing the work. A claim is a lease, so renew or complete it before
it expires. Complete with a concise result and the artifact or pull request
that proves the work.
Task access is still pod-scoped. The runtime identity must be an installed
member with write access; a viewer cannot mutate the board.
